Narrator - Welcome to the Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators, or GACE, Study Plan Development Webinar. We will focus on setting up your MyPSC and the ETS GACE testing accounts. I am Rick Cullors, the ETS Client Relations Director for GACE.
About your MyPSC account.
Your MyPSC account must be created on the Georgia PSC website at http://mypsc.gapsc.org. There you will select a reason for testing, your Georgia certification ID number is assigned at this time, personal information is stored, updated and transferred to ETS. The legal name must be entered into your MyPSC account. On test day, ID must match the legal name in the MyPSC account.
Setting up your MyPSC account.
If you already have a MyPSC account, check to make sure that everything is current. If your account was created before August 19, 2013, you will need to recreate your account so that all of your profile information is transferred to ETS. When a new account is created, click on the “Assessment” button. Select the assessment you wish you to take, select reason for testing, and click the red “Add” button. Type “Yes” in the text box, and click “Confirm.”
Setting up an ETS GACE testing account.
The Georgia Certification ID number is needed to create your ETS GACE testing account. Here test takers can register to test, print admissions tickets, and view your scores. For most assessments, there are two ways to register. One is the website, www.gace.ets.org/mygace. The second way is by the toll-free number 1-855-225-7178. The hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The ETS GACE testing account will be created over the phone at this number. Information must match your MyPSC account. If the information does not match, the registration cannot be processed. The Educator Ethics, Paraprofessional, and Teacher Leadership candidates do not create an ETS testing account. The Educator Ethics candidates register through the Educator Ethics system. The Paraprofessional test takers can only register by phone, and Teacher Leadership candidates register through the Teacher Leadership system.
